1.Accountant
Job Description
Manage bookkeeping using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Track and manage company expenses.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop annual budgets.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide required documentation and support during audit engagements.
- Coordinate external and internal audits.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Oversee the credit and collections process.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws affecting the organization.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for timely filing of tax returns.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
- Should be able to make payroll independently.
- Generate financial reports.
